Frequently Asked Questions
Are your antique beds original?
Yes. Victorian Dreams specialises in genuine antique and vintage beds rather than modern reproductions. Our collection includes original Victorian, Edwardian and French bedsteads, carefully sourced and restored at our Hampshire workshop.
Can antique beds take modern mattresses?
Yes. Many antique beds can be adapted to work with modern mattress sizes. We also make bespoke mattresses and bed bases for unusual, oversized or non-standard antique bed frames.
Can an antique bed be made into a king size bed?
In many cases, yes. Our workshop can professionally widen selected antique bedsteads to create king and super king sizes while retaining the character of the original frame.
Do you deliver antique beds throughout the UK?
Yes. We deliver antique beds throughout the UK and can also arrange worldwide delivery.
