Really good quality antique French brass and iron bed that accepts a standard super king mattress (6'/180cm wide by 6'6/200cm long). The bed has been fully restored in our workshops and has been finished in a satin black colour. The brass has been hand polished but not lacquered. The addition of the brass plaques on the triple down bars adds a pleasing and unusual feature.
 
This is a French antique bed and the foot end is not as tall as an English Victorian iron bed - so this will not dominate the room as much as the foot end is lower. The bed comes complete with a firm bed base, that comes in two sections so it is easy to get up the stairs.
 
We also have an excellent range of mattresses and the bed base and mattress can be made in the same fabric.
