This 4’6” double French Louis XVI Empire style bed has been very beautifully crafted in Walnut.  It features gilded Ormolu mounts on the corners and crest, fruitwood banding in a Grecian key design.  The foot end is gently shaped and exudes quality craftmanship and is complimented with a sunburst design in the marquetry.  
 
The bed dates around 1900 and will take a standard double mattress.  The bedframe will be supplied with a firm bed base.
