A One-of-a-Kind Antique Bed
This beautiful antique upholstered bed features a solid beech wood frame with delicate, hand-carved floral detailing on the headboard. These original features are carefully preserved during restoration, ensuring the character and history of the bed remain intact.
For this project, the bed was reupholstered in a stunning blue wool fabric by Linwood. The chosen fabric — ‘Sorn’ from the Ollaberry/Roxburgh collection — is a 100% Shetland wool, offering both durability and a soft, luxurious finish. The combination of rich natural wood and deep blue upholstery creates a look that feels both timeless and contemporary, making it perfect for a modern bedroom with character.
