The frame is brass and has solid bed knobs and decorative cast club design castings. Without doubt, this bed would have been made in Birmingham by one of the very top brass bed manufacturers of the time.
 
The frame is 5’6 wide and comes complete with a firm bed base. Bed linen is readily available in the size.
