A simple old French caned bed with a curved foot end (demi corbeille). Double (4’6) King size (5’)The frame is made from Beech and has a light colour to the wood. The cane is in excellent condition. Circa 1900. The foot end is fairly low so will not dominate the room and the curves give the frame a softer more feminine look. The bed comes complete with a new bed base so the only extra requirement would be a mattress. This frame can either take a standard double mattress or we can make a king size mattress with a radius corner at the foot end. The frame can be painted if required at an additional cost.
